With pay cuts and job losses hitting Californians hard, this innovative webinar series will provide valuable insights on creating effective household budgets, developing emergency funds, improving credit standings, and accessing essential public resources.

The "Building Financial Security" webinar series, which runs for a whole year, is being hosted by Aspiration, an online banking company that is dedicated to social responsibility. The series will feature a new webinar every month until September 2021. All webinars will offer English language accessibility with the added benefit of interpretation into Spanish.

COVID-19 outbreak has greatly burdened families striving to meet their financial needs. A recent surge in COVID-19 has exacerbated the already immense pressures faced by these families. The latest survey conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California has revealed some insightful findings. It has been discovered that a staggering 70% of adults residing in California have expressed concerns about their personal finances being negatively impacted by the coronavirus. Among them, 35% are tremendously worried, while 36% feel somewhat anxious. Furthermore, an alarming 49% of adults from households with an annual income below $40,000 revealed that they are deeply concerned about the potential financial ramifications brought upon by the pandemic.
